The Ecuador Direccion General de Aviacion Civil (DGAC) has notified the NTSB of an accident involving an Embraer E-190 that occurred on April 28, 2016. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the DGAC investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Design and Manufacture of several subsystems of the airplane.
