On July 11, 2016, about 1507 coordinated universal time, a Cessna TU206G airplane, Colombian registration HK2940, was destroyed when it impacted dense jungle near Charrasquera-San Jose del Guaviare, Colombia. The Colombian certificated pilot and four passengers were fatally injured. The flight departed Villavicencio (SKVV), Colombia, about 1357, and was destined for Mitú (SKMU), Colombia.
