On August 14, 2016, about 2040 coordinated universal time, a Eurocopter AS355 F2, Dominican registration HI-861, was substantially damaged during a hard landing at the La Isabela International Airport (MDJB), Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The pilot was seriously injured.
