On October 25, 2016, about 1250 coordinated universal time (1050 local time), an Embraer 711C, Brazilian registration PT-NQS, operated by a private individual, was destroyed after it impacted the ground shortly after takeoff from Espumoso Airport (SSEZ), Espumoso, Brazil. The pilot and passenger were fatally injured.
