On September 30, 2017, an Air France A380 operating as flight AF 66 from Paris, France to Los Angeles, California had the No. 4 engine's inlet and fan rotor separate from the remainder of the engine. The airplane diverted to Goose Bay, Canada for landing. The airplane is equipped with Engine Alliance GP7200 engines.
