The Government of South Africa has notified the NTSB of an incident involving a Bombardier CL-600-2B19 that occurred May 16, 2018. The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the South African Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the State of Manufacturer and Design of the engine.
