The Boeing 777-200ER, a revolutionary extended-range twin-engine widebody airliner, transformed long-haul commercial aviation by enabling airlines to operate efficiently on routes previously requiring four-engine aircraft. First flown in 1994, it was a low-wing twin-engine aircraft powered by General Electric GE90 turbofans that could seat 301 to 368 passengers in three-class configuration. With a maximum range of 8,555 nautical miles and a fuselage length exceeding 200 feet, it was manufactured by the Boeing Company at their Everett, Washington facility.
