The Bell 206B JetRanger, one of the most successful light helicopters in aviation history, revolutionized civilian rotorcraft operations worldwide. First flown in 1971, it was a single-engine turboshaft helicopter that could carry one pilot and four passengers. With a 33-foot rotor diameter and maximum speed of 140 mph, the aircraft established itself as the workhorse of commercial helicopter aviation. Manufactured by Bell Helicopter, over 4,400 Model 206A/B variants were produced through 2010.
