
The CASA CN-235 represents a successful international aerospace collaboration between Spain and Indonesia, serving as a versatile twin-engine turboprop transport aircraft. First flown in 1983, it features a high-wing configuration with two General Electric CT7 turboprop engines, capable of carrying up to 44 passengers or 6,000 pounds of cargo. With a wingspan of 84 feet and length of 70 feet, the aircraft has demonstrated remarkable adaptability across military and civilian roles. The CN-235 was jointly manufactured by CASA of Spain and IPTN of Indonesia, with over 270 aircraft delivered worldwide.
