
The T-38 Talon, the world's first supersonic trainer aircraft, revolutionized military pilot training when it first flew on April 10, 1959. This twin-engine, two-seat aircraft featured afterburning turbojet engines and pressurized cockpits, capable of reaching Mach 1.3 at 858 miles per hour.
