The Mil Mi-35 V represents the export variant of the renowned Mi-24 Hind attack helicopter, one of the most distinctive and widely-used military helicopters in aviation history. First flown on September 19, 1969, it established a unique dual-role configuration as both an attack gunship and troop transport, capable of carrying eight fully-equipped soldiers while delivering devastating firepower. Powered by twin Isotov TV3-117 turboshaft engines producing 2,200 horsepower each, the aircraft features a 56-foot seven-inch main rotor diameter and stretches 57 feet four inches in length. The helicopter was developed by the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant under the direction of designer Mikhail Mil.
