The Raytheon Hawker 1000 was a stretched intercontinental business jet that represented the pinnacle of the legendary HS-125 lineage. First flown on June 16, 1990, it was a low-wing twin-engine turbofan aircraft accommodating up to nine passengers in its enlarged cabin. With a range extending to 3,000 nautical miles and a fuselage stretched 33 inches beyond its predecessor, the aircraft was manufactured by British Aerospace and later Raytheon Aircraft Company.
