
The Giles G-200 was a high-performance single-seat aerobatic aircraft designed to achieve unlimited aerobatic capability with a four-cylinder engine. First flown as a kit-built aircraft on May 26, 1996, it was a low-wing cantilever monoplane powered by a 200-horsepower Lycoming IO-360 engine. With a 20-foot wingspan and maximum speed of 255 mph, the composite aircraft was manufactured by AkroTech Aviation of Scappoose, Oregon.
