
The Citation M2 represents Cessna's modern entry-level business jet, designed to fill the gap left by discontinued light aircraft in the corporate aviation market. First flown on March 9, 2012, it is a low-wing twin-engine turbofan that can seat 4-5 passengers with single-pilot certification capability. With a maximum takeoff weight of 10,700 pounds and powered by Williams FJ44-1AP-21 engines, the aircraft was manufactured by Cessna Aircraft Company, now part of Textron Aviation.
