The Grob G-120 Snunit is a modern two-seat composite trainer aircraft that pioneered advanced primary flight instruction for both military and commercial aviation. First flown in 1999, it features a low-wing monoplane configuration powered by a single 260-horsepower Textron Lycoming AEIO-540 piston engine, with retractable landing gear and a carbon fiber reinforced plastic airframe. The aircraft measures over 1,080 kilograms empty weight with a maximum takeoff weight of up to 1,490 kilograms. Manufactured by Grob Aircraft in Germany, approximately 215 units were produced through the early 2000s.
