
The Dassault Rafale is France's premier multirole fighter aircraft, representing one of Europe's most sophisticated independently-developed combat jets. First flown on July 4, 1986, it features a twin-engine, canard delta wing configuration capable of air-to-air, air-to-ground, and naval operations.
