The Cessna 310, a pioneering light twin-engine aircraft that dominated the owner-flown business transport market for over two decades, first flew on January 3, 1953. This low-wing, retractable-gear monoplane featured twin Continental engines and could carry up to six passengers in its pressurized cabin. With a 35-foot wingspan and cruising speeds exceeding 200 mph, the 310 established new performance standards for its class.
