The Epic E1000 is a high-performance single-engine turboprop that became the first certified aircraft to evolve from a successful kit-built design. First flown on December 19, 2015, it features a cantilever low-wing configuration with a single Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6-67A turboprop engine and accommodates up to six passengers in a pressurized cabin. The aircraft achieves cruise speeds of 320 knots with a range exceeding 1,500 nautical miles, manufactured by Epic Aircraft of Bend, Oregon.
