The North American Sabreliner was a pioneering business jet that transformed corporate aviation and served dual military-civilian roles. First flown on September 16, 1958, it was a low-wing twin-engine aircraft powered by turbojet or turbofan engines, seating 4 to 11 passengers depending on configuration. With a range of 2,170 nautical miles and service ceiling of 40,000 feet, over 800 units were manufactured by North American Aviation from 1959 to 1982.
