First flown in the late 1970s, it was a low-wing retractable-gear monoplane powered by a 250-horsepower Lycoming engine that could seat five occupants. With a 32.75-foot wingspan and cruise speeds reaching 163 knots, it was manufactured by SOCATA at their facility in Tarbes, France.
