The Cessna TR182 Turbo Skylane RG was a high-performance retractable-gear variant that represented Cessna's final piston single-engine design before the company's 11-year production hiatus. First flown in 1977 as the R182 prototype, this low-wing monoplane featured turbocharged power and retractable landing gear, seating four occupants with significantly enhanced cruise performance over the standard Skylane. Spanning 35 feet 10 inches with a maximum speed of 187 knots, the aircraft was manufactured by Cessna Aircraft Company in Wichita, Kansas from 1979 to 1986.
