
The C-130J Super Hercules represents the latest evolution of the world's longest continuously produced military aircraft, maintaining tactical transport dominance across more than 20 nations. First flown on April 5, 1996, it is a high-wing four-engine turboprop transport capable of carrying 92 passengers, 128 paratroopers, or 45,000 pounds of cargo. With a wingspan of 132 feet 7 inches and length of 97 feet 9 inches, the aircraft achieves a maximum speed of 417 mph and range of 2,400 miles. Manufactured by Lockheed Martin at their Marietta, Georgia facility, over 300 C-130J variants have been delivered since entering service in 1999.
