The Cessna 525B Citation CJ3 served as a pivotal light business jet that bridged the gap between smaller corporate aircraft and larger cabin jets during its eleven-year production run. First flown on April 17, 2003, it was a twin-engine turbofan aircraft that seated up to six passengers in a stretched fuselage design. With a range of 1,875 nautical miles and cruising speed of 417 knots, the CJ3 offered significantly improved performance over its CJ2 predecessor.
