AeroSucre Fleet

The Boeing 727-200, a stretched variant of the revolutionary 727 trijet, transformed regional air travel by enabling jet service to smaller airports previously limited to propeller aircraft. First flown in 1967, it was a low-wing, three-engine aircraft that could seat up to 189 passengers in high-density configuration. At 153 feet in length with a 108-foot wingspan, the 727-200 was powered by three Pratt & Whitney JT8D turbofan engines mounted at the rear fuselage. Boeing manufactured approximately 1,260 units of this variant between 1967 and 1984.
