
The Piper PA-36 Pawnee Brave was an agricultural aircraft that significantly expanded crop-dusting capabilities with its enhanced payload capacity of up to 1,900 pounds. First flown on November 17, 1969, it was a low-wing, single-engine monoplane designed for one pilot with a chemical hopper replacing passenger seating. The aircraft measured larger than its PA-25 predecessor with various engine configurations ranging from 285 to 375 horsepower. Manufactured by Piper Aircraft Corporation from 1973 to 1981, with 938 units produced.
