The Bombardier Global Express pioneered the ultra-long-range business jet market, establishing new standards for intercontinental executive travel when it first flew on October 13, 1996. This twin-engine high-wing monoplane could carry 8 passengers and 4 crew members across 6,500 nautical miles nonstop at Mach 0.85. With a spacious cabin measuring 48.35 feet in length and 8.17 feet in width, the aircraft featured a 95-foot wingspan with distinctive winglets and T-tail configuration. Bombardier Aerospace manufactured approximately 150 original Global Express aircraft between 1998 and 2006.
