The CASA C-295 Persuader, a tactical military transport aircraft that became a global leader in its class, represents the evolution of modern turboprop cargo aviation. First flown in 1997, it is a high-wing twin-turboprop transport that can carry up to 71 troops or 20,700 pounds of cargo. With a maximum speed of 358 mph and service ceiling of 25,000 feet, the aircraft stretches over 80 feet in length. Originally developed by CASA of Spain, now part of Airbus Military.
