PAN Air Fleet

The British Aerospace BAe-146-300, an innovative four-engine regional airliner designed to bridge the gap between turboprops and larger jets, first flew on May 1, 1987. This high-wing, T-tail aircraft featured four Honeywell ALF 502R-5 turbofans and could accommodate 100 passengers in its 30.99-meter fuselage. Known as the world's quietest jetliner, it achieved remarkable short-field performance with takeoff distances of just 1,509 meters. British Aerospace produced 71 examples of this stretched variant between 1987 and the program's conclusion.
