The EC-120 Colibri was a pioneering international helicopter project that became the first successful joint venture between European, Chinese, and Singaporean aerospace companies. First flown on June 9, 1995, it was a single-engine, five-seat light utility helicopter with a sleek, heavily glazed fuselage and three-bladed main rotor system. The aircraft measured over 37 feet in length with a maximum speed of 200 mph and was manufactured through a unique partnership led by Eurocopter France.
