Thomas Cook Airlines was a British airline founded in 2003 as the airline subsidiary of the travel company Thomas Cook Group, headquartered in Manchester, England. Operating as a full-service carrier, Thomas Cook Airlines primarily focused on leisure travel, offering scheduled and charter flights from multiple UK bases to popular holiday destinations across Europe, the Mediterranean, and North Africa, with particular strength serving the package holiday market. The airline offered economy and premium economy cabin classes and operated a significant charter operation alongside its scheduled services, making it a major carrier within the UK leisure travel segment. Thomas Cook Airlines ceased operations in September 2019 when the parent Thomas Cook Group entered administration, marking the end of the airline's 16-year history and resulting in one of the largest travel industry collapses in UK history.
