
The EDRA Super Petrel is a modern recreational amphibious aircraft that brought contemporary composite construction and proven powerplants to the light sport aircraft market. First flown in August 2002, it is a single-engine pusher-configuration biplane seaplane that seats two occupants. Over 400 aircraft were produced during its 21-year production run, with a wingspan of approximately 29 feet and powered by a Rotax 912 engine. The aircraft was manufactured by EDRA Aeronautica of Brazil, later renamed Scoda Aeronautica.
