Analysis

On July 10, 2001, at 1430 central daylight time, a Cessna 210, N9657T, piloted by a private pilot, was substantially damaged during a hard landing at the Saint Charles Municipal Airport (3SQ), Saint Charles, Missouri. The pilot reported in a written statement, "...Departed KBTL on IFR flight plan. Arrived 3SQ had hard landing with nose gear hitting hard. Broke strut then broke hydraulic line. Nose gear collapsed..."
