Summary

On February 24, 2009, a Bombardier CL-600 (EC-IKZ) was involved in an accident near Santander, SP.

On February 24, 2009, about 1750 coordinated universal time, an Air Nostrum CL-600-2B19, registration EC-IKZ, experienced a duel engine failure while on approach to Santander Airport (LEXJ), Santander, Spain. The flight crew were able to restart both engines and subsequently landed without further incident. There were no injuries to the passengers or crew and the airplane was not damaged.
