On July 10, 2011 about 1050 UTC, 5N-BEX, Hawker Siddeley HS-125, operated by Associated Airline Limited, overran runway 23 during landing at Benin Airport, Edo State, Nigeria. There were no injuries to the 3 occupants. The aircraft received minor damage. There was no fire. The flight originated at Abuja, Nigeria.
An investigation has been instituted by the Nigeria Accident Investigation Bureau (NAIB). As the state of manufacture of the airplane, a US Accredrited Representative has been appointed. Please direct inquiries about the investigation to the NAIB.
