On October 19, 2013, about 1105 universal coordinated time, a Piper PA-28R-200, Brazilian registration PT-NKO, was destroyed when it impacted terrain under unknown circumstances, near Corumba Municipality, Brazil. The foreign certificated pilot and four passengers were fatally injured. The flight departed Teruel Ipanema Estancia Airport (SSEI), near Bodoquena, Brazil; destined for Santa Gertrudes Airport (SSZF), near Corumba, Brazil.
