On April 13, 2015, at 0709 Pacific daylight time, a Swearingen SA226-TC, Canadian registration C-GSKC, operating as Carson Air flight 66, was destroyed in an area of mountainous terrain about 10 nautical miles north of North Vancouver, British Columbia. The captain and first officer were fatally injured. The cargo flight departed Vancouver International Airport (YVR), Richmond, British Columbia, for Prince George Airport (YXS), Prince George, British Columbia, and was operating under Canadian flight regulations.
