On January 1, 2016, at 1624 local time, a Piper PA-34, 9M-RBI, operated by a private operator under the pertinent civil regulations of the government of Singapore, was substantially damaged when the airplane landed at the Seletar Airport, Singapore, with the landing gear retracted. The pilot, the sole person on board was not injured.
