On September 19, 2017, at 1450 UTC, a Vans Aircraft RV-4, experimental, amateur-built airplane, Norwegian registration LN-ABF, impacted terrain near the Hamar Airport (ENHA), Stafsberg, Norway. The pilot and passenger on board were fatally injured and the airplane was destroyed. The airplane was owned and operated by a private individual. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the local, personal flight that originated at ENHA.The airplane was making an approach to runway 15. At an altitude of approximately 400 ft. the airplane departed controlled flight and entered a right-hand spin to the ground.
