On June 25, 2019, about 1335 local time, a Bell 206L-3 helicopter, registered D-HOTT, and an Aeroprakt A22L airplane registered EC-GU1, collided in mid-air, near Inca, Mallorca, Spain. The pilot and four passengers aboard the helicopter and the two people on the airplane, received fatal injuries and both aircraft were destroyed.
The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the government of Spain. This report is for information purposes only and contains only information released by or obtained from the Comisión de Investigación de Accidentes e Incidentes de Aviación Civil (CIAIAC).
The NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the CIAIAC investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13.
